The 2nd ASEAN Traditional Textiles Symposium

The Museum Foundation of the Philippines and the National Museum of the Philippines gratefully acknowledge the ASEAN Foundation and Japan/ASEAN Solidarity Fund as major partners in this endeavor. Instrumental in organizing the 2nd ASEAN Traditional Textiles Symposium in Manila are core leaders and coordinators from Himpunan Wastraprema, including Dr. Mariah Waworuntu, Mrs. Adiati Sirifin Siregar, and Mrs. Belen Ponferrada Thirkell. Additional funding and support in Manila were provided by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, the Department of Tourism, the Heritage Festival Committee, Philippine Airlines Foundation, and the National Commission on Culture and the Arts.
